There’s an upgraded version of this application called Samsung Smart Switch. Samsung Kies supports a wide range of old and new Samsung products, such as Galaxy 3, S, S2, S3, S4, S5, Galaxy Tab, Corby Pro GT-B5310, to name a few. The application will enable you to connect your mobile phone to your PC, synchronize your data between the devices, and backup personal information (such as contacts, memos, messages, call logs), videos, music, photos, as well as your account information and settings. Looking at the User Interface there are some other options that are possible, but I don't think they all support calendars and contacts, probably just notes. The purpose of gSyncIt is to sync things with Google, so you would have to go via Google Calendar. Is it possible to sync automatically without that intermediate step? Nor was there a way to not sync emails - emails MUST be synced. On top of that, running on my phone, there wasn't any way to even see the Calendar. Or in my case, it was so terribly complex that I just plain couldn't do it. W R O N G! This is a disgusting reflection on MicroShaft - they can't even make syncing 2 of their own products easy. You would think that it would be a piece of cake syncing 2 MS Outlook programs. I tried another option, namely using MS's. I may as well just put up with the USB cable. However it is FAR from automatic I have to start the client on my phone and start MPE on my PC, then sync then close both programs (I really don't want anything extra permanently running on my phone nor on my PC). Rudi, I tried MyPhoneExplorer and it works.
